Each year, Citywide Sundecks attends multiple home shows, along with many other residential contractors in the Lower Mainland, but we look forward to the spring BC Home + Garden Show most.  This show is always buzzing with excited attendees planning their renovations and building projects and the energy is high.

Home Show Recap

Hosted each year at BC Place, this event is huge. Thousands of attendees visit the hundreds of exhibitors over the course of the five days and HGTV stars are out in full force. This year, Bryan Baeumler of HGTV’s Leave it to Bryan and Bryan Inc. made a splash, appearing on the mainstage Friday evening and Saturday Afternoon. The attendees swooned at the starpower and lined up down the isles of the show for autographs.

Baeumler caught our eye, too. Recently Bryan launched a new business venture aimed at connecting homeowners with reliable, vetted contractors known as Baeumler Approved. Many exhibitors at the show were already a member of this trusted organization and sported a green Baeumler Approved sticker on their booth. Citywide Sundecks has promptly applied for the program and is a proud member of Baeumler Approved, looking forward to sporting the green badge of approval at the next home show. Citywide Sundecks New Brand Reveal

At the 2017 BC Home + Garden Show, Citywide Sundecks unveiled a new, supersized booth to exhibit our services.

We constructed two decks to showcase our materials and workmanship, a Duradek vinyl deck, and a composite deck. Representatives from Timbertech, Azek and Duradek joined us in the booth as our preferred Composite decking and vinyl decking suppliers. We also showed off samples of our liquid deck coating solutions and discussed our wooden deck, railing, and patio cover services.

We met hundreds of homeowners who were interested in our deck services and Citywide is looking forward to another busy summer season building and renovating decks in the lower mainland.
