Our team members used some time during our off peak season to attend the Duradek training program. Hosted and taught by Kevin at Duradek in Surrey, this installer-only class greatly expanded their knowledge and understanding of Duradek installation.
What is Duradek?
Duradek is a PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) membrane that comes in 6 foot wide rolls. Typically installed over smooth plywood sheets and then seam welded, it provides a durable long lasting waterproof deck surface. Duradek is among the highest quality of any vinyl decking available. Duradek has the largest selection of colours and styles, an industry leading warranty, and is the original vinyl decking membrane. Like Kleenex is to facial tissues, Duradek is often used to describe other brands of vinyl membrane, but there is only one Duradek.
